When the Post 701 entered the home stretch during the playoff drive in
2009, manager Vinny Fiorillo placed a call to an old friend. Rick Jobin answered that call and
returned to the 701ers after a 2 year absence and immediately paid dividends in the Post lineup.
In only 15 at bats, Rick totaled 5 hits, scored 5 times and knocked in 4 in helping the
Post make the playoffs for the second straight year. Rick also became a defensive force behind
the plate sporting one of the best arms in the league. Rick is looking forward to helping the
Post to something that they have missed since 2002 . . . a league championship.
