Loper is second on the all-time Post list in runs scored with 165 . . . In addition to carrying a career ba of .349, Bobby is only 7 rbis shy of the coveted century mark . . . For the third time in his 701 career Bobby hit .400, batting .405 . . .

A 12 year veteran of the Post 701 team, Bobby continues to hit and play his position with the best of them. As the years pass, Loper is approaching some 701 milestones. With his 7th rbi in 2010 he will attain the coveted 100 rbi plateau and he has a very good shot at his 200th basehit as a Post 710er. That rarified air has been reached by only long time star Scott Brennan. Bobby's 165 runs scored is second on the all-time list, only a dozen behind Brennan. For the third time in his career, Bobby posted a .400 average, batting .405. Bobby arrived to the Post in 1998 following a sterling career with Scandor's, The Scoreboard, and Liber's Blue in which he starred on numerous League Championships.

Steady is the word that describes Bobby's Gold Glove at shortstop, as he gobbles up groundballs like Wimpy gobbles up hamburgers. Bobby also excels in post-season play, where he has averaged .462 over the last 4 years, including .538 in the championship year of 2002.
